Is there an additional fee for plans that include QuickBooks?

QuickBooks Online subscription version included in your package choice will be included at no additional cost for all new QuickBooks Online users. As this fee is a pass-through from a third-party vendor, fees are subject to change as QuickBooks changes its pricing..

What is included in my unlimited consultations?

While this pricing entitles your company to unlimited consultation with us, if your question or issue requires additional research and analysis beyond the consultation, that work will be subject to an additional price, payment terms, and scope to be agreed upon before the service is to be performed.

How does 24/7 team access work?

Kimcox Plans provide you with 24/7 Team Access with advance notification and planning. Urgent matters that arise outside of business hours should be submitted to Kimcox via email or telephone voicemail and one of our team members will contact you as soon as possible. Bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, accounting, and other routine services performed by Kimcox that are included in your plan will be completed during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm ET, excluding observed holidays. Any routine work required to be completed by Kimcox outside of normal business hours will be billed at the hourly rate corresponding to the service type – any out-of-scope hours included in your plan will not be applied to these services. For urgent matters, additional charges may or may not apply and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

What's included in full-service payroll and reporting?

Full-Service payroll pricing quoted includes the semi-monthly pay schedule using the Gusto payroll platform. Monthly fees will be adjusted to accommodate pay schedules with different frequencies. Additional payrolls, including termination checks, will be billed separately. Employee deductions (including garnishments) are considered out-of-scope and will be billed hourly. Gusto subscriptions fees are a pass-through third-party vendor fee and are subject to change as Gusto changes its pricing.

How do Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable services work?

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable pricing will need to be reviewed and determined based on your specific needs and the quantity of transactions per month. A limited number of payments and/or invoicing is included in the package but is dependent on the complexity of the transactions.

How does compliance renewal work?

Our team will handle compliance and renewal at an hourly rate plus applicable filing fees. Here are a few examples:

  • Sales Tax/Business License: Hourly + applicable filing fees
  • Food License: Hourly + applicable filing fees
  • Liquor License Hourly + applicable filing fees
  • All other compliance applications, reporting, and renewals: Hourly + applicable filing fees
